PPSC Welcomes Students Back with New Accessible Campus Navigation, GoodMaps

As students return to Pikes Peak State College (PPSC) for the first day of fall classes, they have a new tool to help them find their way. PPSC has launched GoodMaps, an accessible indoor navigation platform, at all four of its campuses: Centennial, Downtown, Rampart Range and the Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES). For students entering an unfamiliar building, finding the right classroom can be one more challenge on an already busy first day. GoodMaps provides turn-by-turn directions that help students, employees and visitors navigate campus with greater confidence and independence. The free GoodMaps app uses camera-based technology to identify a person’s location and provide precise directions through complex indoor spaces. Users can receive audio and visual guidance, select step-free routes and navigate the platform in more than 25 languages.
