Christy Lofton completed her Bachelor and Master's of Arts degrees at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her first love is working in the classroom, in real time and real environments with her students. Outside of classroom time, Christy also prioritizes working individually with students regarding extra tutoring outside of class, career and degree progress and organization, teaching assistant mentoring, independent studies focused on continuation of research and teaching assistant internships. She thrives by watching students of all ages and backgrounds grow, challenge themselves, make a difference in society and continue to succeed as kind human-beings. She considers who position and career to be a privilege.
