Manda Wich
M.A., Colorado State University
I grew up in a rural railroad and farm town in Western Texas. While I have lived in
Colorado Springs since 2008, that small, dusty town will not only always be “home,”
but also the experience growing up there is a significant force for my teaching philosophy.
Additionally, I attended PPSC when it was still PPCC, as a non-traditional student.
I was a student in the first class to revive The Paper. After PPSC, I kept it local
and received my B.A. in English Writing and Rhetoric at UCCS, where I was the editor-in-chief
of the university literary journal riverrun.
I went on to Colorado State University to earn my M.A. in English Writing, Rhetoric,
and Social Change while working as an assistant editor of the WAC Clearinghouse, Writing
Consultant in the Writing Center, and Writing Teaching Assistant for Chemical and
Biological Engineering.
