Concurrent Enrollment

"Concurrent Enrollment" refers to the program that allows high school students to earn college credits while they are in high school. Within the Concurrent Enrollment program, PPSC offers different ways to take classes depending on your schedule, interests, and transportation options.

Within Concurrent Enrollment, PPSC offers Career Start and Campus Pathways. All concurrent enrollment classes may take place on a PPSC campus, online, or at the student's high school. Classses may be during evenings or outside the normal high school day/week.

Career Start
  • Students participate in Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs on PPSC's Centennial Campus
  • Classes are held Monday through Friday with other high school students in a cohort model
  • Transportation is provided by the student's school district
  • Students must apply to participate in Career Start
Campus Pathways
  • PPSC courses are taught at the student's high school
  • Classes are built into the student's high school schedule
  • Only available in some school districts
